All The King’s Men

  1. Brunswick Dragoon dismounted (they all were) with Burgoyne 1777? Shouldn't the facings be yellow rather than red? If it is a jaeger, his coat is green, not sky blue. If he is a gunner, his ciat would be darker blue. Secondary sources are not always correct. Can't think of anyone who fought for G3 in the American War uniformed like that with a a mustache.

  2. The figure was painted to represent an officer of the 2nd New Hampshire Regiment in 1777 has he would have looked during the Saratoga Campaign. He is armed with a sword, fuzee (fusil or light musket) and bayonet. His moustache shows he is a bit of a recalcitrant. I will have him reported to his commanding officer for sever reprimand.

  3. The Gunner's Daughter, I think, for failing to adhere to company standing orders!
